Alcohol licensing notices
We publish notices with details of the applications we receive for occasional licences, new premises licences and major variations so anyone can submit objections or representations.
You can submit an objection or representation to an occasional licence application in writing to licensing@dumgal.gov.uk or by post to Licensing, Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries, DG1 2HS. Objections and representations must be received no later than the objection date shown in the notice for that application.
We consider all applications in line with local licensing policies and principles. We also consult with Police Scotland.
Dumfries and Galloway Licensing Board will consider any applications subject to an objection or for licensing hours outside our licensing policy statement.
