We take a look back at the amazing staff featured in the A-to-Z of Dumfries and Galloway Council.

This is Sarah Farrell. Sarah is the Climate Emergency Project Officer who leads the Climate Emergency Team. She has a very varied programme of work supporting the council and the region on the journey towards net zero.

Our festive opening hours are now live on our website. This page provides information on council services throughout the holiday period that includes: bin-collection arrangements, homelessness and housing options, registration offices, social work and more.

This week marks a major step forward for the Dalbeattie Rocks and Wheels project with the start of construction works on the former Primary School site.

On Thursday 28 November, young people, invited guests and organisations from across the region gathered in Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries to take part in the annual Dumfries and Galloway Youth Awards.
