A new £900,000 fund to support housing regeneration, improve property conditions and help deliver affordable homes across Dumfries and Galloway has been approved by councillors.
Councillors will be asked to consider a comprehensive update on the region’s Active Travel programmes next week, as Dumfries and Galloway Council continues to develop a long term, sustainable approach to improving walking, wheeling and cycling opportunities for communities across the region.
A report setting out how Dumfries and Galloway Council plans to invest in the region’s buildings, roads, schools, public spaces and key infrastructure over the next three years will be considered by councillors at the Economy and Infrastructure Committee on 24 March.
Dumfries and Galloway Council is encouraging individuals, families, schools, community groups and businesses across the region to take part in this year’s #SpringCleanScotland, running from 13 March to 24 April 2026.
