We’re inviting views from tourism organisations, citizens, visitors and community groups on the idea of introducing a visitor levy in our region.

We sought views on proposed changes to the Dumfries and Galloway Integration Scheme through a public consultation.

Dumfries and Galloway Council and NHS Dumfries and Galloway, working with our Community Planning partners, would like to hear your views to help make sure that the 2026-2029 Children’s Services Plan for Dumfries and Galloway is informed by the perspectives of key stakeholders and communities.  This will help us to satisfy Part 3 of the Children and Young People (Scotland) 2014 Act which requires every local authority and its relevant health board to jointly prepare a Children’s Services Plan every three years.

We would like to understand the views and experiences of citizens, employees, members and partners to help us develop the Community Resilience Policy.

Dumfries and Galloway Council is proposing, subject to the outcome of the statutory consultation process, to discontinue education provision at Carsphairn Primary School and Nursery.
