What happens after you apply
Shortlisting
After the closing date, we assess applications against the criteria in the person specification.
If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to interview by email. Check your emails regularly so you do not miss updates.
Interview
Interviews vary depending on the role. Some include questions only, while others may include a presentation or practical task.
Before your interview, review your application and bring any required documents, such as proof of qualifications and identification.
Pre-employment checks
If you are the preferred candidate, we will complete pre-employment checks before confirming your start date.
These may include right to work checks, references and Disclosure Scotland checks where required.
If you have lived or worked outside the UK, you may need to provide an overseas criminal record check.
