At a special meeting of Full Council today (Monday 16 June), councillors agreed a new administration with immediate effect.

Dumfries and Galloway Council will mark Drowning Prevention Week 2025 from 14–20 June by promoting the importance of staying safe in and around water this summer.

The local assessor is currently carrying out a statutory audit of self-catering properties across Dumfries and Galloway.
