Dumfries and Galloway Council is recognising major achievements and the impact that these have had on communities at the halfway point of its Council Plan 2023–2028.

Dumfries and Galloway Council today (Friday 19 September) said that its recent contract award for the Whitesands Flood Protection Scheme is an “up to £38 million” agreement covering both design development and potential construction phases – not a confirmed £38 million spend at this stage.
