At a meeting of the Economy and Infrastructure Committee on 4 November, councillors agreed a report outlining the development of a Regional Good Food Nation Plan – in line with the requirements of the Good Food Nation (Scotland) Act 2022.
Dumfries and Galloway Council today (Friday 19 September) said that its recent contract award for the Whitesands Flood Protection Scheme is an “up to £38 million” agreement covering both design development and potential construction phases – not a confirmed £38 million spend at this stage.
Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Enabling and Customer Services Committee will consider a new Communications Strategy for 2025–2028 and a Lobbying Framework at its meeting on Tuesday 16 September.
