A staff member from Castle Douglas Activity and Resource Centre (ARC) has been praised for her initiative in making this year’s Civic Week celebrations more inclusive.

Dumfries and Galloway Council has been made aware of an issue affecting access to Direct Payment card accounts provided by Prepaid Financial Services (PFS).

This is the estimated value added to the region each and every year by volunteers who help the council.

From Wednesday 4 June, Dumfries and Galloway Council will introduce a software update to the system used by our Care Call service.
