Register a defibrillator
The British Heart Foundation’s national defibrillator network The Circuit connects your AED to emergency services. If your defibrillator isn’t registered 999 call handlers won’t be able to direct someone to it in an emergency.
What you can do
- use DefibFinder to check if your defibrillator is already registered
- visit The Circuit to register your defibrillator. It’s free, quick, and ensures your AED is visible to emergency services
- you can also become a defibrillator guardian and take responsibility for keeping it maintained and accessible
Training and resources
Training helps people feel more confident using a defibrillator. In a high-stress situation like a cardiac arrest, hesitation can cost lives. Knowing what to expect and how to act quickly can make all the difference.
