As part of Scottish Learning Disability Week, colleagues across Dumfries and Galloway Council are making pledges to help create a more inclusive community where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
Dumfries and Galloway Council spent £84.6 million with suppliers based in the region during 2025/26, while delivering 335 community benefits through council contracts.
Families across Dumfries and Galloway are being invited to donate, swap or take pre-loved Halloween costumes as council libraries launch Scare, Share and Wear.
