Dumfries and Galloway Council is set to deliver two important road safety improvement schemes this March, responding directly to community concerns and supporting safer travel for residents, parents, children and road users across the region.
Young people from every corner of Dumfries and Galloway have been recognised for their hard work, dedication and personal development at a series of Celebration of Achievement events delivered by Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Youth Work Service throughout February.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has invested £2.66 million in a fleet of 12 new low-emission buses to safeguard vital transport links between communities in the west of the region.
Business as usual, as vast majority of subsidised bus routes in Dumfries and Galloway will continue as normal, with routes allocated to local bus operators.
