Community resilience groups from across Dumfries and Galloway are being recognised for their commitment to supporting local people and helping communities prepare for and respond to challenges.
Dumfries and Galloway Council spent £84.6 million with suppliers based in the region during 2025/26, while delivering 335 community benefits through council contracts.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has been approved as a Fostering Friendly employer by The Fostering Network, following the approval and introduction of a new policy providing practical support for employees who foster or provide kinship care.
