Dumfries and Galloway Council has awarded £270,061 to the Robert Burns Ellisland Trust to deliver the next critical stage in the restoration of Ellisland Farm, the home built by Robert Burns and the birthplace of Auld Lang Syne.
This year, organisations and groups from across the region were invited to apply to the Youth Beatz Fringe Fund for funding to run events and activities in their own communities as part of the Fringe Programme for 2026. The Youth Beatz Fringe has a continued focus on providing opportunities that are entirely free and accessible across Dumfries and Galloway.
Elected members have approved updated plans to guide the delivery of affordable housing across Dumfries and Galloway, helping to support communities, tackle housing need and drive economic growth.
