This year’s programme hasn’t only been shaped by community groups and organisations who applied to the Fund, but also by young people themselves. Members of the Oasis Events Team played a key role in deciding which projects received funding, ensuring that the Fringe programme reflects what young people want to see locally. As a result, we have a packed programme of completely free events happening across Dumfries and Galloway, making sure that cost is no barrier for children, young people and families to get involved.
From Football to Superhero Clubs, Community Fun Nights to Free Swim and Cinema sessions, there is something for everyone being delivered in local communities across Dumfries and Galloway.
All Fringe events are free for people to attend, and as well as events aimed at young people aged 12-25, there are also sessions that are open to children and families where appropriate.
