Road closures and traffic orders charges

Charges apply for temporary traffic orders for events or works under either Section 14 or 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Charges vary depending on the organisation or service required. Permanent Traffic Orders such as Stopping-Up or De-Listing under the RSA are also subject to a fee.

Temporary traffic lights and signage may be required to support safe traffic management during works or events. A permit is required to use multi-phase temporary traffic lights Charges apply depending on the duration and type of traffic control requested.
