Dumfries and Galloway Council and regional transport partnership SWestrans have been working closely with local bus operators to modify some bus services in the region, in response to customer feedback.
Councillors gathered at a special meeting of Full Council today (Monday 11 August) to discuss the bus network that was introduced in Dumfries and Galloway last Thursday (7 August).
Dumfries and Galloway Council has invested £2.66 million in a fleet of 12 new low-emission buses to safeguard vital transport links between communities in the west of the region.
