People across Dumfries and Galloway are being invited to join thousands of people across Scotland in celebrating the joy of reading on Wednesday 7 October.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has awarded the main works contract for the Whitesands Flood Protection and Public Realm Improvement Scheme in Dumfries to McLaughlin & Harvey.
