Dumfries and Galloway Council is delivering a major programme of road improvements this summer. The work forms part of a wider investment of over £30 million – alongside this year’s capital and revenue programmes – to improve the region’s road network over the coming years.
The Leaders of South Ayrshire Council and Dumfries and Galloway Council are once again calling on the Scottish and UK Governments to invest in the A77 and the A75.
Construction is now underway on nine multi-modal transport hubs in Dumfries and Galloway, which will bring new active and sustainable transport options to communities across the region.
