At its meeting on Thursday 19 March, Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Enabling and Customer Services Committee approved a package of measures to support taxi services across the region and improve the availability of wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs).
Councillors have agreed three key strategies designed to strengthen how services are delivered across Dumfries and Galloway, focussing on improving the customer experience, expanding digital services and supporting the council’s workforce.
Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Community Assets and Roads Service Teams will be carrying out a package of improvement works across Dumfries High Street and the wider town centre over the coming weeks.
