At its meeting on Thursday 19 March, Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Enabling and Customer Services Committee approved a package of measures to support taxi services across the region and improve the availability of wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs).
A report setting out how Dumfries and Galloway Council plans to invest in the region’s buildings, roads, schools, public spaces and key infrastructure over the next three years will be considered by councillors at the Economy and Infrastructure Committee on 24 March.
Elected members will receive a detailed update on Dumfries and Galloway’s ongoing roll out of 20mph speed limits when the Economy and Infrastructure Committee meets on 24 March.
Dumfries and Galloway Council is encouraging individuals, families, schools, community groups and businesses across the region to take part in this year’s #SpringCleanScotland, running from 13 March to 24 April 2026.
