Dumfries and Galloway Council has confirmed a carefully managed year-end financial position for 2024/25, taking targeted action to support core services during a period of national sustained financial pressure.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has officially achieved Disability Confident Leader status – the highest level of accreditation under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.
Councillors will be asked to approve additional funding to advance the Stranraer Marina project to the crucial Full Business Case (FBC) stage at a meeting of Dumfries and Galloway Council on 26 June.
Business as usual, as vast majority of subsidised bus routes in Dumfries and Galloway will continue as normal, with routes allocated to local bus operators.
