Significant progress has been made on major infrastructure and regeneration projects across Dumfries and Galloway, as councillors reviewed the latest update on the council’s Capital Investment Programme.
Councillors are to consider the findings of a detailed review of Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) across Dumfries and Galloway, looking at how the service can be adapted and potentially restructured to meet future needs.

Dumfries and Galloway Council will consider plans to kick-start the regeneration of the long-derelict Former Interfloor Factory site in Heathhall, Dumfries, at its Full Council meeting on Thursday 11 December.
