Dumfries and Galloway Council is celebrating Armed Forces Week with events taking place from Monday 23 June.

The 2025 Youth Beatz Fringe Festival will run for 7 days between Friday 20 June and Thursday 26 June, and will offer a wide range of activities and 12 different events within each Ward area of Dumfries and Galloway.

Dumfries and Galloway Council welcomes confirmation from the Department for Transport that the region will receive £13.8 million.

This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War, with Victory in Europe (VE) Day being 8 May 1945.

Youth Beatz Festival is back for 2025 and signups have now opened for young people and adults to register their interest in volunteering at this year’s event.
