The count took place today (Friday 21 November) and the result has been published on our website – Local by-elections | Dumfries and Galloway Council
The total number of ballot papers was 3968 and voter turnout was 34.29%.
Julie Currie of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party has been declared the winner and is duly elected as a Ward 1 Councillor.
