If you do not qualify for a discount or exemption
Ask for a review
If you do not qualify, we'll tell you why. You can ask for a review if you do not agree with our decision. We usually complete the review within 5 working days.
Make an appeal
If you are still unhappy with the decision following our review, you can make an appeal to the Local Taxation Chamber:
- download the appeal form from www.localtaxationchamber.scot
- add details of the review decision you are appealing
- add the reasons for your appeal
- include any additional information or evidence to support your appeal
You must send your appeal within 4 months of the date you asked for a review. Email or post your appeal form to:
