Corporate Parenting Plan 2025–2028

We are committed to ensuring that every child and young person in our care feels safe, valued, and supported to thrive. This refreshed plan builds on the progress we’ve made so far and reflects the voices of our children, young people, and families. It aligns with our commitment to #KeepingThePromise and outlines how we will work together with partners to deliver the best possible outcomes.

The plan has been shaped by:

• what we’ve learned from our previous Corporate Parenting Plan
• the findings of 'The Promise' and its implementation plans
• feedback from children, young people, and families
• local data and evidence on care-experienced young people

This plan sits within our Children’s Services Plan 2023–2026, under Workstream 4 – Care Experience. We will report annually on our progress to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Together, we will continue to listen, learn, and act to make sure our children and young people grow up loved, safe, and respected.
