Statutory consultation on the potential let of common good property, Open Space at Rotchell Park, Troqueer Road, Dumfries

The Open Space at Rotchell Park, Troqueer Road, Dumfries, as outlined in a thick black line on the plan below, is held as part of Dumfries Common Good and therefore before taking a decision we are required to consult under section 104 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

An 8-week consultation period from Friday 15 May 2026 to Friday 10 July 2026 will take place. 

We are inviting representations from the local community council, community bodies and members of the public on this proposal.  

Any representations or enquiries should be clearly headed ‘Open Space, Rotchell Park, Troqueer Road, Dumfries’ and handed into Ewart Library, Catherine Street, Dumfries or sent by email to [email protected] 

Representations should be received by the Council no later than 5pm on Friday 10 July 2026.
