You must have a taxi driver licence to drive a taxi or private hire car in Dumfries and Galloway. The car must also have a Dumfries and Galloway operator's licence.

You must have a private hire driver licence to drive a private hire car in Dumfries and Galloway. The car must also have a Dumfries and Galloway operator's licence.
A private hire driver's licence permits an individual to drive only a private hire car licensed by this authority.
