How to order a certificate
Order online
You can order a certificate online you have the information we need ready. You can pay by credit or debit card.
Order by telephone
Call us on 030 33 33 3004 and make sure you have the information we need ready.
You can pay by credit or debit card. This service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Order by email
You can email registrars@dumgal.gov.uk including the information we need.
When we've found the original certificate details we'll send you an email with a reference number and instructions on how to make payment online.
Order by post
You can write to us enclosing the information we need and a cheque for the fees and postage, made payable to Dumfries and Galloway Council. Write to us at:

Call 030 33 33 3004 to make an appointment to visit one of our registration offices to order a certificate.
Make sure you bring the information we need to your appointment. You can pay by cash, card or cheque at your appointment.
