Book a visit

We use a booking system to make sure we have enough staff and recycling resources to meet demand for the service. This avoids long queues. We do not want to turn people away if they are still in the queue when the recycling centres close.

If you book using a mygovscot myaccount we can add some of your contact details to your booking. You will also be able to track your booking.

Vehicle restrictions

There are restrictions on the types of vehicles you can bring to our recycling centres:

• no commercial or trade vehicles, for example tractors
• no vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonne
• no trailers with 3 or more axles

You do not need to book if you arrive at site:

• on foot
• on a bicycle
• on a mobility scooter

Customers arriving to the site in a vehicle and attempting to walk in as a pedestrian without a booking may be refused entry to the site.
