We are delighted to let you know that we have new groups starting soon, designed for parents aged 14-25 years!

The sessions (starting from week beginning 27 October) will run in:

Hub 75 (Park Children’s Centre), Stranraer, Mondays from 11am – 1pm

Victoria Halls, Annan, Wednesdays from 12noon – 2pm

Oasis Youth Centre, Dumfries, Fridays from 11.30am – 1.30pm

Hillview Leisure Centre, Kelloholm, Fridays from 12.30pm – 2.30pm

The Annexe, Castle Douglas, Wednesdays from 12noon – 2pm (*starts 12 November)

The Young Parent’s Project is built around one clear principle: young people are at the heart of everything we do. 💖

It is designed to provide support and resources to young parents between the ages of 14 and 25, who are raising children under the age of 5. Expecting parents are also welcome to take part.

The project will focus on empowering young parents to build the skills and confidence they need to provide for their families, celebrating their strengths and helping them to achieve a brighter future for themselves and their children.

The programme will run for 20 weeks and will include a range of activities such as practical workshops, information sessions with local services & organisations, courses & certificates, trips, visits, and parent & child activities.

The project is completely free to take part in, and refreshments and lunch will be provided at every session.
