Statutory consultation on the potential let of common good property, Former Castledykes Depot, Kingholm Road, Dumfries

The Former Castledykes Depot, Kingholm Road, Dumfries, as shown outlined in a thick black line on the plan below, is held as part of Dumfries Common Good and therefore before taking a decision, the council requires to consult under section 104 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

An 8-week consultation period from Friday 28 August 2026 to Friday 23 October 2026 will take place. 

We are inviting representations from the local Community Council, Community Bodies and members of the public on this proposal. All representations will be published here following the consultation.

Any representations or enquiries should be clearly headed ‘Former Castledykes Depot, Kingholm Road, Dumfries’ and handed into the Ewart Library, Catherine Street, Dumfries or sent by email to [email protected] . 

Representations should be received by the council no later than 5pm on Friday 23 October 2026.
