Your feedback will help us understand how we can provide high-quality, flexible Early Learning and Childcare that meets the needs of families.

The consultation is open until Friday 4 December 2026.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.

You will not be asked to provide identifying information. The form will not automatically collect details such as your name or email address unless you choose to provide them.

Why we're consulting

Councils are required to consult people who represent the views of parents and carers of children under school age about how Early Learning and Childcare should be made available in their area. This consultation must take place at least once every 2 years.

We want to understand what families need from Early Learning and Childcare and how we can provide services that are flexible and meet local needs.

Your feedback will help inform future planning and improvements to Early Learning and Childcare across Dumfries and Galloway.

How we will use your responses

Responses will be collated by our partner, The Improvement Service, and the analysis will be shared securely with ourselves.
