Overview
SWestrans and Dumfries and Galloway Council are looking for feedback on proposals to create six new active travel paths across the region. The aim is to connect communities in the six areas below by providing accessible and high-quality routes which encourage more people to walk, wheel or cycle:
- Wigtown to Newton Stewart
- Langholm to Canonbie
- Springfield to Gretna
- Dumfries to Caerlaverock
- Dalbeattie to Castle Douglas
- Ecclefechan to Annan
How to take part
We’re looking for details of:
- your preferred route options
- which destinations you would like to be included
- barriers which stop you from walking, wheeling or cycling
There are three ways to have your say:
- add your preferred route to an interactive map
- email the project team
- come to a drop-in session to meet the project team on 14 May
